Nothing without you
I'm looking very nice today I have put on my best perfume,
I am standing here waiting for you to come home,
But you won't be back till the sky falls apart and the heaven weeps,
A stranger in this world roaming around in search of peace,
I miss the warm hugs like the sun shined on my face,
The emptiness of the cold nights sting me through my heart,
I am a lifeless thing hung from the tree a symbolic sacrifice,
In my dreams that I treasure things I had taken for leisure,
Time flying like a bird on its heels forcing closures to scenes,
The gleaming light shines upon me as the crystal moon,
Getting lost in the woods the fog has wasted me away,
I am forgotten and broken and running far to the land of hollow,
A numb object often still and never the first to shout the grief,
The sweet cherries and the sour grapes cocktail of wonder days,
A slow lever that keeps pulling scraping my soul off its humanity,
It's a murmur creeping me to the darkness and asking to leave this world,
My senses yearning the moment when there was nothing but silence.
