I don’t need you

So many keys in my pocket,
One for the locker,
One for the door,
One for the cabinet,
None for my heart,
They scream for my attention,
Until silently pressed into the pocket,
They seek my adoration,
Conveniently peeking through my life,
Door after door,
Always my companion,
I see a slow opening,
A new key being forged,
By my heart that hums,
To the tunes of those in my hand,
Looking to fit itself,
Through their lens,
Am I the locksmith?
Maybe,
Of my own destiny,
Waves after waves,
Flooding emotions,
Dancing to the tunes,
Of the keyhole in my heart.
