Willow Whisper
Silent whisper a willow creeks the
waves calm the breeze sleeps,
Lying on my sofa the eyes wander shading out the trees trying to
squander,
Looking for images to see if you are back home listening to
footsteps that you might never take,
The wind chills the spine the buzzing insects are the only
companions,
The dull sea rings in the echo of emotions held deep within locked
from this world,
As the current hits the rocks they crash forward to bring the
storm ablaze,
Blinking in to avoid the blow of fate entering into my eyes,
My hands shiver as I cower into the corner of my
own loneliness,
The lamp has been blown apart by wicked glance of nature to bring
darkness into this world,
As I long for you the warmth is far from anything reaching these
tears,
Waiting to erode away into ashes of time and fly away to far away
land,
The mind plays tricks as the shadows creep in on my dreams,
The only remembrance of me being alive is the heart that
pumps out my hollow breath,
The wooden floor reeks of dead wishes and crying petals crushed
under the foot stomped onto by vanity,
The colours fade into the moon and its all now shades
of Grey,
The moonlight brightens everything enlightening that I am still
all alone,
A wolf weeps in a faraway land howling for his beloved to sing
back their love song,
It is nothing but an echo which hits the mountains and rings
forever pitching on the reality with slaps back with greater force,
The trees have dried up the flowers have sunk in hidden under the
leaves which lay on the ground
As I lay here waiting for a thunder to hit me and make everything
go away.
